Thompson Motors is a great place to buy a car! If you are looking for good deals, family friendly service and great customer loyalty you won't find a better place. I bought my car from them 5 years ago and it still runs great! Process was easy, no surprises, just down to earth people who want to put you in a great car. I will buy my cars from them for years to come.
If I could give negative stars I would! I live 2.5 hours from this dealership, they had the Jeep I wanted so I was going to make the drive. I called and spoke with Mike and asked him about the leak that I noticed in the pictures that were posted. He continued to tell me he didn't know anything about it. Then I spoke with Paul and he told me that it was probably from the air conditioner that was running before taking the picture. So I drove 2.5 hours just to get there and see that it had an oil leak!! He took it back and put it on a lift and said that it was an easy fix but it would take 45 min to an hour. He also told me that they just did an oil change to it, if you just did an oil change how didn't you notice it was leaking!? So my boyfriend and I test drove it and we heard some noises so we were questioning whether we should get it or not. The pictures online looked a lot better than what it looked like in person. It was scratched up and dented in multiple spots. So we asked if he could go down a little on the price for the inconvenience of having to drive all the way up there just to wait on them to fix the oil leak, when I asked not once but twice if it was leaking anything! He wouldn't budge, even though it was an 08 Jeep Patriot with 171k miles on it! He didn't even apologize for the inconvenience of the oil leak even though I asked about it TWICE before driving 2.5 hours up there. This place is a joke and I wouldn't trust anything they say. I'm so happy that we made the decision to not buy that car! I also noticed most of the other cars in the lot had oil leaks as well. Save your money and go somewhere else!
For sales people they're extremely nice. One thing I love is they don't waste time haggling. I told them what I wanted for my trade in, and what I wanted to pay for a vehicle they had. The whole negotiating process took 3 minutes at most. I was happy, considering I had just got done dealing with a dealership down the road where the negotiating process took 3 days. Thompson motors has some of the cleanest (rust free wise) I have ever seen for such good prices! My go to dealshership from now on for used vehicles.

I bought a car from here with warranty, called them befor i took the car in to get it fix. They keeped it for about 4 days and each time i called i was told it was being worked on. Then i at the end of the process i was told they didn't fix my car because it was no longer under warranty. So if you still end up buying from this place, please make sure you do a really good inspection on the car and hold them up to the warranty if you chose to buy it.
