My mom came in yesterday at noon and it has been a horrible experience she has talked to three doctors for about 1 or 2 minuets each and everyone has been very rude!! If I could it would be a 0 start ........will never come back to this hospital if it’s up to me. The only good service they have is the food and nutrition they were the only ones how were nice and night shift nurses.
This hospital is filthy and the staff isn’t friendly in the emergency trauma unit. I feel like they are uneducated and just plain don’t care. The patient care is horrible, was there a month ago and there was bloody tissues and a used needle on the floor. It’s took us 5 hours to be taken care of and over and hour to even get seen. I would rather go to Marlette.
This review is just for the occupational services across the street from the main building. It is run entirely by incompetent people. The lady at the desk has no clue what she’s doing. I went in there to take a drug test for a new job and I was there an hour and a half and no one was called into the back to be seen in that amount of time. There were 6 other patients waiting. After an hour and a half I went to the desk and explained that I had another appointment and would have to leave if not seen soon and inquired how long she estimated it would be. She said there are 2 people ahead of me for testing. I explained no one has been called into the back to be seen in 1 1/2 hours. She just had a confused look on her face and didn’t know what to do. This wasn’t a young woman either. She looked like a seasoned veteran. I expect to wait at doctors offices, but this was unacceptable. I feel bad for the 6 other people that were there before me. Who knows how long they had been waiting?
I was reading some reviews and now I'm worried. I went to pre testing and everyone was polite. I'm going in Tues and I hope it will be alright. I had a awful experience at McLaren in Flint. I'm really hoping these doctors and nurses are nicer and sympathetic.
My experiences at this hospital have always been terrible. I have lived in Lapeer County for most of my life, and I am 45 years old. Needless to say I have been to this hospital for any serious illness or injury throughout my life. My biggest complaint out of anything is this; when you go into the hospital for pain because Motrin, or Tylenol doesn’t work, why would they send you home with a high dose of Motrin that you are already taking at home? They discharge you without even solving your pain issue, which is what brought you in there in the first place. I get that people abuse the system, but if they took the time to do the MAPS search on me, they would see that I’m not a pain pill abuser. So why punish the people who are actually in pain, by not treating their pain? I don’t get it. You’re a hospital! Do your fricking job! I hope that the doctor that refused to write narcotic pain med prescriptions for me today gets kidney stones (which I found out I have while at the hospital) and you pass those razor sharp bitches with just Motrin 600’s pumping through your body. I will never go there again, and no lady I don’t want to discuss my recent visit with you.
This clinic I was at was only accessible from the out side at the north west side of the building. Again, This clinic was across the street from the main hospital.
I would give 0 stars as everyone on here states, but u have to give at least one.
